CENTERSTAGE's two performing spaces, The Pearlstone Theater and The Head Theater, are each intimate, comfortable, and accessible with no nose-bleed seats, no second balconies—nothing to distance you from fully engaging with the artists and artistry on their stages.
The Pearlstone Theater is an intimate performing space off the first floor lobby seats just 541, and no seat is farther than 35 feet from the modified thrust stage. The Pearlstone is equipped with an assisted listening system and is fully accessible.
The Head Theater opened in 1991 as a part of a major renovation of the CENTERSTAGE facility. The Head Theater is a flexible theatrical space that can be transformed into an amazing variety of performance configurations. In 2011, with a goal of returning to a space more seriously dedicated to the art, the cabaret tables were whisked away and more traditional seating installed. The reconfiguration opened up more than 25 additional seats in the space. The theater currently holds approximately 322, is equipped with an assisted listening system, and is fully accessible.
