Baltimore Center Stage Leadership Team
Participates in “Food for Thought”
Lunch and Learn Sessions are Designed to Connect with Area Thought Leaders
As a public theater in the heart of Baltimore, we are always pursuing opportunities to connect with local organizations in providing access to resources for all. This past Thursday, we held our first “Food for Thought” with Tisha Edwards, Director of Baltimore City Office of Children and Family Success, to maximize these opportunities collectively. She is a former interim CEO of Baltimore City Schools and previously held positions as Executive Director of The J.S. Plank and D.M. DiCarlo Family Foundation and at BridgeEdu.
Under the leadership of Tisha Edwards, the office works to “create urgency and momentum to improve the quality of life for Baltimore’s children and families.” We had the opportunity to discuss the root effects of poverty, reducing violence, and more ways to connect with youth in the city of Baltimore. Moving forward, we hope to use “Food for Thought” sessions to lean in and glean opportunities to build long-lasting relationships, partnerships and institutional engagement.
