Baltimore City School Board Candidates Forum

Healing City Baltimore invites you to a School Board Candidates Forum on Monday, October 3 from 6:30-8:30 pm at Baltimore Center Stage. The Forum is presented in partnership with Baltimoreans for Educational Equity, Black Mental Health Alliance, Center Stage Theater, Centro Sol, Clymb, Coppin State University Social Work Department, Healing Youth Alliance, Morgan State University School of Social Work and the University of Maryland School of Social Work.

The discussion will focus on the social, emotional, and mental health of Baltimore City students. At this unprecedented time, we know that many students are in need of a school system that is not only addressing their academic needs, but is supporting them as whole people. Hear from School Board candidates as they share their thoughts and ideas about how BCPSS could be doing this better, and share their vision if elected to the board.

Register to attend the forum by clicking here or the ‘Book Tickets’ above.

Doors open and light food will be provided starting at 6 pm. Child Care services to be provided at no cost by licensed providers from Joshua’s Place ELEC Inc. and Kreative Minds LLC. Registration is requested.
