Mia is in trouble at school. Her brother Henry is in trouble at home. Their mother is drunk and in Henry’s bed. And their estranged father is about to come home. That Face is a darkly funny play about a seriously dysfunctional family hurtling toward collapse.
That Face will be the first performance in our Third Space, a new, 99-seat theater at Baltimore Center Stage. This highly flexible and intimate space was designed to be a place for bold, adventurous work. On this new stage, we can showcase progressive voices and fresh initiatives—with shorter runs and more accessible ticket prices—that might not reach our main stages.

Designed Just for You.
After the show, come play with us! The bar will be open and we’ll have board games, music, and more at our post-show party in the Nancy K. Roche Chapel.
Advisory: This dark play contains adult language and content, simulated drug use, hazing, and sexual situations. It is not suitable for young children. This performance includes the smoking of herbal cigarettes in a small performance space.
